- You cannot use a wired & wireless connection simultaneously.
- Most complaints of this printer revolve around the drivers and software.
- No PictBridge support.
- only three autodial fax buttons.
- slower than average photo prints.
Most problems relating to drivers and software can be worked around by resetting the printer and making sure the paper settings in the print driver match the paper settings for the installed paper tray. These tasks are performed as follows :
Check Paper
- Open a document to print.
- Click File , click Print , and then click Properties . The product Properties dialog box appears.
- Click the Paper/Quality tab.
- Choose the appropriate paper size from the Size is drop-down menu.
- Choose the appropriate paper type from the Type is drop-down menu.
- Click OK and then click OK again to print the document.
Reset
- Without turning the printer off, remove the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait 30 seconds and then plug the power cord into the back of the printer.

Problems after power went off during storm when power returned the printer had problems powering up fully.
Printer would keep starting to power up over an over with no real power-up.
Tried Partial reset:
1. Unplug printer for 30 seconds
3. Press # and 3 together while plugging printer back in. (may take two people)
Also tried full reset:
1. Unplug printer for 30 seconds
2. Press # and 6 together while plugging printer back in. (may take two people)
Still not working:
HP used to be the best dependable printer, not any more.
This is my last HP printer they want me to replace this printer, not a chance.
Hp could provide more documentation to help out of Warranty printer that have not been used Heavily.
