  • Features have been removed from the  Nano that were present on the last revision of the device.
  • The screen is much smaller than the previous generation, therefore, playback of video content from iTunes is gone.
  • The camera has also been removed from this revision due to size constraints.
  • Games are not supported.
  • Additionally there is no microphone, speaker, calendar, contacts, notes or alarm clock
  • Many users believe this is a step backward and recommend other individuals purchase a 5th generation device. The 5th gen device has more features , the same price and therefore holds greater value. Some users believe that this device should be equated with the Shuffle line of media players and not the Nano.
