- The manufacturers website states that the resolution is limited to 800x600
- The manufacturers website states that the L1 does not support .mp4 files with h263/h264 codec ( iPod/iPhone video files) To ensure video plays convert video files to either .mpg, .wmv, .dat or .avi. Ensure that the encoding codec is either DiVX or XViD.
- Some reviews and users feel that the device is not bright enough to project acceptable images larger than approx 26 inches (66 cm), The manufacturers website states that the L1 used in low-light conditions can achieve a projected image up to 50 inches (127 cm).
- Users and commercial review sites have mentioned that the device uses a laser-based light source but it can create a shimmering effect that some may find distracting

All feedback is good and helps us to maintain impartiality and accuracy.
I wouldn't say it's all wrong, the resolution is directly from the manufacturers website.
In addition to the submissions we received, the possible shimmering is reported on many commercial review sites
Some variance in opinion is to be expected as this is a first gen product and the first to use this kind of lighting.
From what I understand it is actually a good product.
Having said all that I have edited the product listing in order to be more clear.



No offense, but this stuff is all wrong. I have used mine effectively for 7 foot screens! You have to know on a product like this that you can't have all the lights on, that's not what it's for. With the lights dim or off it's picture gets huge.
