- Many instances of short product life time are reported with one or more features failing within a few months of use, most notably button failures.
- Volume control issue ; many users report that the volume lowers and the "increase volume button" ceases to work. This is assumed by many users to be a result of sweat effecting the button and device functionality.
- Complete freeze issue; many users of the "HD" version have complained that the head phones freeze and become non- functional after charging. In this state the buttons don't work, it will not be seen or pair with other devices, the LED light remains on and the device can not be turned off. Some users have stated that letting the battery drain (about 2 or 3 days) then recharging it returned functionality, a few stated that the issue re-occurred.
- The battery is not removable or replaceable.
- The rated life of the battery is approx 400 charges, which you can expect to last between 5-6 hours of continuous use per charge. Depending on usage they may last 1-3 years
- Paired device needs to be positioned correctly: either in a stable position (like on a desk) or above the waist (Motorola recommends using an arm band). If not, you may experience cut outs.
