  • Some users have criticized it for a lack of durability
  • Most common failure reported is the microphone.Users state that in some cases it has ceased to function within the first month. The suspected reason is poor wiring or connection within the microphones boom.
  • Comfort seems to be the most widely reported issue. Hard headband and ear cup design makes it uncomfortable for some users particularly those who report that they have a large head or sticky out ears <-- (ok I don't know how to word that without it seeming like an insult or funny...sorry)
  • Possible quality control issues indicated by the uniformity across a wide range in user reviews ( rating is very uniform across all ranges ie if 10 people give it a score of 90 out of 100, then a similar number of people will give a rating of 90, 80, 60, etc there is no general consensus which is unusual)

I had two pairs of these, one of Logitechs few bad products

I think that these are one of Logitechs few bad products.
The first pair the inline controls stopped working within a month of use.
The second set The same thing happened after about 3 months but before that the mic stopped working completely. I gave up and baught a different brand from a company that only makes headphones and sound cards.

I gave up too.
I have to admit the issues above are pretty accurate.
Like the above commenter my inline controls stopped working too, and in my case the mic died in a very short time.
Logitech does have a great returns policy though, but in the end the frustration and lack of comfort pushed me to just buy a new headset from a different company.
Logitech products have such a good track record it is unfortunate that these are, in my opinion, rubbish.
