- Soft photos, videos are reported by reviewers
- There are only limited manual controls however it does have a large feature set for a point and shoot.
- GPS can't quickly be powered on and off.(requires entering into the main menu system)
- The manual says to use Class 4 memory card or better but some users report that if you are doing video you need at least a class 6 card .

You need the GPS assist data (either through the bundled software, or by manually adding the assistme.dat file to the SD card)
