I have bought this Camera in Dec 2010 and it worked fine in terms of picture quality. But it has serious bugs in it. Intermittently the is a message saying Turn the power Off & on again. The lens keeps zooming in & out and wont stop doing that even after power is turned off... Battery has to be removed to stop this action.

Camera lying with sony service center for over a month with no resolution.
Stay away from this model.

Regards,
Akhil Rane

I bought this model less than 2 years ago. Never was satisfied with picture quality, now out door pictures are total white and indoor are barely visible due to the white glare.

Sony Cybershot H55 Auto Review issue.

It has no way to turn off the Auto Review.

Contacted Sony Tech Support today 5-7-2012 - got right through
to a tech person, who informed me that there is no way to turn
it off. This is of course ridiculous. Sony engineers should not
have overlooked that important feature. Wake up Sony!

Otherwise this is a good camera - both stills and video are great.
