- When shooting a video the focus is not able to keep up with the zoom
- No RAW image support
- No hot shoe for accessories or external flash
- Some consumers and professional review sites have mentioned that the camera may occasionally "lock up" in the same manner that a home PC can. If this occurs you will need to do a hard reboot by removing the battery.This reported issue may be due to the use of incompatible SDcards as indicated by the following quote found on the Nikon support site.
Memory cards with an SD Speed Class of 6 or faster are recommended for recording movies. Movie recording may stop unexpectedly when memory cards with a lower Speed Class rating are used.
